Owing to its location, Galeria Katowicka is both a destination and a stopover along the way. The role the mall can play in the life of Silesian residents served as a source of inspiration for a project involving activities that would allow people in downtown Katowice to experience something valuable for which they usually don’t have enough time. By kicking off the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT, Galeria Katowicka wants to draw interesting events, support various organizations and promote everything that’s worth attention.

Working closely with art and cultural organizations and educational institutions, Galeria Katowicka wishes to use the popular space in the city center to offer and promote actions and ventures which encourage the residents of Katowice and other cities and towns located nearby to grow, pursue new interests, and boost their cultural, art and scientific awareness. The key fields covered by the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT are science, music, art, theater, movies and culture.
