Regulations for co-working
§ 1 – INTRODUCTION
These Regulations set out the principles of operation of the co-working zone created by the Owner of Galeria Katowicka – Estlin Investments sp. z o.o. (“Owner”).
The scope, details and conditions of the services are contained in these Regulations. Free-of-charge access to the services of the co-working area is possible every day, from Monday to Sunday, during Galeria Katowicka opening hours (except for public holidays).
The Owner has the right to amend the Regulations at any time. Information on amendments to the Regulations, as well as their current content, will be published at the www.galeriakatowicka.eu and available in the co-working space, as well as information desk of Galeria Katowicka located on level 0 (at the main entrance from 3 Maja street).
The Regulations of the Galeria Katowicka Shopping and Entertainment Centre, in force throughout the Gallery, also apply to the co-working room.
§ 2 – USING THE INTERNET
In the co-working room there is Internet connection available throughout the Galeria Katowicka Shopping and Entertainment Centre.
Using the Internet connection to download and/or share illegal material, as well as excessive load on the Internet connection by downloading large files (e.g. movies) is not permitted and may result in immediate termination of the service.
The Owner is not responsible for any possible damage caused by the failure or malfunction of the Internet connection.
§ 3 – RESPONSIBILITY
The Owner reserves the right to limit accessibility to the room. Information about any restrictions can be obtained at the information desk of Galeria Katowicka Shopping and Entertainment Centre.
The Owner is not responsible for the impossibility of providing any services in the event of extraordinary circumstances or circumstances beyond the Owner’s control.
The Owner does not provide storage or custody services for the belongings of the users of the co-working area. The Owner is not responsible for the users’ belongings left there.
§ 4 – RESERVATIONS
Depending on the availability of the co-working space, it is possible to rent the room for a fee. Reservations can be made at the Galeria Katowicka information desk in person or by calling 32 41 41 309.
The cost of renting the room is PLN 100 per hour (gross).
Reservation requires making an advance payment in the amount equivalent to one hour of the rent. The advance payment should be made at the information desk – not later than one day before the booked date. The advance payment is counted towards the total charge for the time of booking the co-working space.
To pay the remaining balance, please go to the information desk immediately after the end of the rental.
A booking made for a room may be cancelled (revoked) free of charge no later than one day before the booked date. In the case of not cancelling the reservation and not showing up on the day of the reservation to collect the keys, the advance payment shall be credited towards the compensation for the loss which the Owner incurred due to not renting the co-working space. Reservations can be collected within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time.
The projector in the co-working room is only available to users who reserve the room. For necessary information on activation and operation of the projector please contact the information point.
§ 5 – USE OF THE RESERVED ROOM
In order to receive the keys to the co-working room, you should go to the monitoring office with the confirmation of payment of the deposit. The room can be used after verifying the correct functioning of the equipment according to the procedure described below.
The person reserving the co-working room, before handing over the keys, is asked to sign a protocol concerning acceptance of responsibility for the equipment used by him/her, indicating also the value of the equipment made available for use and confirming that, at the time of handover, the equipment did not show any irregularities and allowed for correct activation and further operation. The signature of the protocol by the person booking the co-working room is not necessary, but is a condition for making it available.
The co-working space is returned on the basis of a return protocol signed by the Owner’s representative and the person booking the co-working space, specifying the condition of the returned equipment. In the case of the absence of the person who reserved the co-working space or unjustified refusal to sign the return protocol, the Owner is entitled to sign it himself. Defects or damage to the co-working room indicated in the return protocol will be repaired at the expense of the person booking the co-working room. The repair costs should be paid on the day indicated in the request for payment.
§ 6 – ORDER PROVISIONS
Co-working users are obliged to:
- comply with these Regulations;
- respect for persons and property;
- maintain order and cleanliness;
- maintain peace and quiet, and in particular to turn off ringing mobile phones;
- repair all damage and destruction caused by them at their own expense.
Activities not permitted in the co-working area:
- carrying and consuming alcohol and other drugs, as well as smoking cigarettes (including electronic cigarettes);
- bringing in and eating hot food;
- using an equipment that generates excessive noise;
- listening to music or other audio material without headphones.

§ 8 – PERSONAL DATA
The administrator of the personal data provided in the system of booking and using the co-working room is Estlin Investments sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Warsaw, address: ul. Towarowa 28, 00-839 Warsaw (for a natural person also name and surname + address of residence). The data will be processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (consolidated text: Journal of Laws 2016, item 922, as amended), for the purpose of providing the room rental service. Each person has the right to inspect their personal data, correct them and withdraw their consent to their processing. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to provide the service and to consider any complaints.
