This weekend (May 10-11), the SHOP LOCAL! project is going to show up in Katowice for the first time ever. The fair of Polish designers’ clothes, accessories and jewelry will give the visitors of Galeria Katowicka an excellent chance to shop for unique items which previously have only been available on-line. The event also involves “The Silesian Bloggers Showdown” aimed at selecting the best 2014 spring/summer outfit.
SHOP LOCAL! is a pop-up type of event, which means that a store or a stand appears at a given place for a limited period of time only. The objective of SHOP LOCAL! is to present various designers that boast innovativeness and creativity. It is also an opportunity for them to establish face-to-face contact with potential customers. This periodic event held in a number of Polish cities promotes designs which would otherwise be known only from the Internet.
SHOP LOCAL! showcases local designers and convinces consumers that it is possible to efficiently combine unique apparel with items from clothes chain stores. One-of-a-kind designs, unusual materials, exclusive collections at appealing prices.
Galeria Katowicka’s mezzanine will be used by approx. 50 brands, including “Cuda Krowskie” – a company founded by two students of architecture from Katowice.
SHOP LOCAL! will take place on May 10-11 in Galeria Katowicka, at the mezzanine located beyond the food-court. The event is going to last from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday and between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm on Sunday.
Entrance is free of charge!
