Elevation of Galeria Katowicka will be lit up in blue. April 2 – World Autism Awareness Day

April 2 is the World Autism Awareness Day. The most famous and recognisable landmarks and buildings around the world are turning blue on that special day. This year, for the first time since the opening, Galeria Katowicka will join the action – “Light It Up Blue”.

More than six and a half tonnes of good quality clothes for charity – such aid will be donated for the statutory purposes of the Silesian Branch of the Polish Red Cross due to the campaign organised by Galeria Katowicka. Over the last two weekends each person could donate spare, unwanted clothes and refresh their wardrobe while helping those in need – that is how the Spring Wardrobe Refreshing charity campaign worked. What surprised the organiser of the campaign the most?

The second part of the Spring Wardrobe Refreshing campaign organised by Galeria Katowicka starts this weekend. In this special campaign by giving unwanted clothes to charity we can help and also make some space in our wardrobes for new apparel. Last weekend we collected nearly two and a half tonnes of clothes.

TOUS to open a new shop in Galeria Katowicka in just one month

TOUS, one of the brands most favoured by celebrities, is going to open a new shop in Galeria Katowicka. The Spanish company established in 1920 is one of the top international jewellery corporations. The most classic symbol of the company are little bears hand made at Barcelona workshops by jewellers with over 15 years of experience. TOUS also offers fancy leather goods, accessories, perfumes, watches, sunglasses, handbags, suitcases, wallets, scarves and shawls as well as pens. The shop in Galeria Katowicka is going to be opened soon after April 20 this year.

“Every woman can be beautiful” in Galeria Katowicka. The first shop of the exclusive Estēe Lauder brand in Katowice

World-famous cosmetic brand – Estēe Lauder – opened a new shop in Galeria Katowicka. The famous American company has their office at the most popular and best known commercial street in the world – Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York. And now, in the capital of Upper Silesia, Estēe Lauder opened their fourth shop in Poland. Previously, Estēe Lauder shops were located only in the prestigious shopping centres in Warsaw, Poznań and Kraków.

New restaurants in the city centre. New eateries in Galeria Katowicka

Two new restaurants will soon be opened in Galeria Katowicka: Don Pep – with Italian cuisine and Butchery&Grill – with their special beef dishes. The visitors can already enjoy the Japanese menu in the recently opened Sushi Do restaurant with unique dishes prepared on the ROBATA grill. In the summer season, the restaurants which have their entrances from pl. Szewczyka will provide the customers with outdoor seating areas.

First winter holiday trip to the mountains – that’s how we managed to fulfil the dreams with the help of Galeria Katowicka

Ski lessons, lots of fun and their first trip to the mountains – 20 children from St. Adalbert’s Youth Community Centre in Katowice have just returned from Jaworzynka in Silesian Beskids. For most of the children that was their first winter holiday trip. Galeria Katowicka endowed the holiday trip as a part of the „Dream Christmas” campaign.
