An unusual artistic event will take place on World Theatre Day, March 27, at Galeria Katowicka’s food court.
At 4 pm, young acting students from Silesia Theatre’s Theatre School will be performing an adaptation of The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat by Oliver Sacks.
At 5 pm, a reading of Shabby Rooms (“Odrapane pokoje”) will be taking place, with performances by Silesia Theatre cast and acting students of its Theatre School, directed by actor and director Robert Talarczyk. This newly created by young authors piece strongly references hip-hop culture, which is extremely prominent in the Silesian region. Shabby Rooms are four stories about young people seeking their creativity and artistic ways. Their fates become intertwined in a way which is not easy to comprehend, evoking the reality of dreams.
Everyone is invited!
