A unique exhibition titled ”Tour de Pologne: behind-the-scenes and the thrill” will be opened to the public until March 10 on level +1 at Galeria Katowicka. The photographs show a less-known and inaccessible to the spectators side of the race. Beautiful landscapes, large numbers of fans, lonely breakaways and dramatic finishes: this is how most of us imagine a bicycle race. Carefully selected photos presented in Galeria Katowicka showcase places and people who can’t be seen on television screens. How does the interior of a tour bus look like? What do the cyclists have for supper? How do you prepare the bike? How many people does it take to organize a race? How many trucks of scenography go from one place to the next? You can find out all of this at ”Tour de Pologne: behind-the-scenes and the thrill.”
The exhibition focuses on the last year’s, 71st edition of Tour de Pologne. It was when Rafał Majka, after a break of many years, became the winner of the race.
Feel the thrill of a great race!
We recommend the exhibition ”Tour de Pologne: behind-the-scenes and the thrill” at Galeria Katowicka.
