Customers who spend at least PLN 50 on the first days following Galeria Katowicka’s opening may get one of over 13,000 gadgets. They can choose umbrellas, bags, leashes and watches with Galeria Katowicka logo, as well as other gifts provided by tenants. The offer shall be valid while stock lasts.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
- The “Gadget of Your Choice” action, hereinafter referred to as the “Competition,” is organized by Galeria Katowicka Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at Żelazna 28/30, 00-832 Warsaw (the “Organizer”).
- These Terms and Condition lay out the rights and responsibilities of the Competition’s Participants.
- Participation in the Competition is voluntary and shall be considered as Participant’s acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
II. DURATION
The Competition starts at 10:00 on September 18 and finishes at 20:00 on September 22, 2013.
III. PARTICIPANTS
- Any person of legal age who does shopping for at least PLN 50 at stores located in Galeria Katowicka mall (at 3 Maja 30 in Katowice) between September 18, 2013, 10:00, and September 22, 2013, 20:00, shall be eligible to take part in the Competition (a/the “Participant”). Participation is not allowed for persons indicated in art. III section 2 hereof.
- The following persons shall not be eligible to take part in the Competition: employees of the Organizer, employees of Grupa Eskadra Sp. z o.o., workers of other entities involved in the Competition’s organization and management, as well as tenants and workers of retail and service units located in Galeria Katowica. The term “employees” and “workers” shall pertain to anyone working or performing other repetitive activities for the entities listed above, irrespective of the legal relation upon which such cooperation is based.
- Each Participant agrees for his/her personal data and other information provided to the Organizer during participation in the Competition to be put in the Organizer’s database and processed for the Competition’s and marketing purposes, pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act of August 29, 1997. The personal data gathered with respect to the Competition shall be administered by the Organizer.
IV. RULES
- In order to participate in the Competition, an entrant needs to do shopping for at least PLN 50 in Galeria Katowicka between September 18 and 22, 2013. A Participant who spends PLN 50.00 – 99.99 shall receive a category 1 prize, whereas shopping for over PLN 99.99 shall entitle a Participant to receive a category 2 prize, subject to art. V section 1 hereof. A receipt shall be a valid proof of purchase.
- Doing shopping shall mean purchasing goods or services in cash or with a bank card. Only receipts documenting a cash or bank card purchase shall be accepted in the Competition. It is not allowed to use receipts documenting a purchase made with a gift card or a voucher.
- The Competition task is to report as soon as possible to a designated prize picking spot located at level -1 of Galeria Katowicka and to present a receipt documenting shopping done during the Competition period (between 10:00 on Sept. 18, 2013 and 20:00 on Sept. 22, 2013). The spot has a prize pool comprising:
category 1 prizes – leashes with Galeria Katowicka logo;
category 2 prizes – mugs, bags, USB sticks and umbrellas.
Each Participant may receive only one prize, subject to art. V section 1 hereof.
V. PRIZES
- The prize pool comprises 13,000 items of advertising gadgets. Prizes shall be distributed during the Competition’s period until supplies last.
- The Organizer, acting as an income tax payer, hereby declares that prizes will be given to the Competition’s winners in compliance with the Personal Income Tax Act of July 26, 1991 (Dz.U. 2000 no. 14, item 176, as amended).
VI. FINAL PROVISIONS
- The Terms and Conditions are available at the Organizer’s registered office, at the administration office of Galeria Katowicka and at www.galeriakatowicka.eu.
- The Organizer hereby states that information about the prizes (incl. pictures and parameters) provided at the www.galeriakatowicka.eu website or in other materials published by the Organizer shall not constitute a retail offer within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code.
- The prizes may not be exchanged for their monetary value or other items.
- Each Participant agrees for his/her personal data and other information provided to the Organizer during participation in the Competition to be put in the Organizer’s database and processed for marketing purposes, pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act of August 29, 1997.
- Any complaints related to the Competition shall be submitted in writing, with a relevant justification, within 7 days of the maturity date of a claim to dispense a prize. The Organizer shall be obliged to process complaints within 14 days of their receipt date or a complaint shall otherwise be considered accepted.
- Any disputes arising with respect to the Competition shall be referred to a relevant court of law, in line with applicable legal regulations.
