As part of the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT, this week we recommend:
on Tuesday, 14 July
– a unique event prepared by the University of Silesia: a presenting workshop hosted by UŚ TV (University of Silesia TV) entitled “Feel like a TV presenter” is set to begin at 11 am. The classes aim to teach the participants about journalism techniques and let them know what the job is really about. Everyone will have an opportunity to learn how to read the news, pronounce tongue-twisters and hear some interesting stories about the TV industry.
– at 2 pm, an exhibition of the University’s alumni “2014 Diplomas: graphic design” is set to begin. It will be open to the public until July 28.
on Wednesday, July 15
Renesans Gallery & Workspace is inviting everyone from 4 to 7 pm to Architectural curiosities – multimedia presentations and creative undertakings. The HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT classes aim for children to learn more about media, art, literature and further their general knowledge of the world.
on Thursday, July 16
– Andrzej Dopierała, Silesia Theatre actor and founder of Bez Sceny Theatre will read out a tale by Ludwik Jerzy Kern entitled “Ferdynand Wspaniały” (“Ferdynand the Great”). All children and adults alike are invited to hear about a dog who dreamed that it became human at 3 pm.
– next installment of the personal development coaching classes cycle “Enter the Higher Level” is set to begin at 5 pm. The title of this week’s class will be: Look into the future not only with hope. After the meeting, a 15-minute long relaxing-calming session with a commentary will take place, with a background of soft music. You can join a session every 30 minutes.
We’d like to remind you that all summer classes of the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT at Galeria Katowicka are free of charge and take place on level +2. Selected classes are on a first come, first serve basis.
