February 20-21 is a tennis-themed weekend at Galeria Katowicka.
A mini-court, rackets, balls and special attractions are waiting for kids between 4pm and 7pm. The Weekend Tennis Academy is run by Katowice Tennis Association.
Anyone who visits the court at Galeria Katowicka gets a chance to win one of 100 tickets to Poland’s largest tennis tournament, WTA Katowice Open 2016.
Last year’s tournament was broadcast to over 70 countries across the world and matches were being followed by more than 20,000 fans. The upcoming fourth edition of WTA Katowice Open is going to be held from April 4 to 10. The qualifying tournament is scheduled for April 2-3. Courts located in Spodek hall and Katowice Conference Center will welcome top female tennis players, incl. world no. 3, Agnieszka Radwańska.
This weekend marks the start of tennis-related surprises at Galeria Katowicka. Others are coming soon.
