It all began in 1851, when Karol Ernest Wedel, young baker from Berlin, came to Warsaw and opened a small shop at Miodowa in which he was selling chocolate and caramel. In 1894, his Son, Emil, moved the shop and the factory to a new building at Szpitalna. The building is still there and inside it you can find the oldest shop and café – Pijalnia Czekolady E. Wedel „Staroświecki Sklep”.
From November 30, in Galeria Katowicka, the shoppers will have the chance to try delicious E. Wedel’s chocolate. At Pijalnia Czekolady E. Wedel – the chocolate café – you will discover the magic of chocolate. Apart from drinking chocolates, the customers will also find there many other sweet treats – various desserts and handmade pralines.
Pijalnia Czekolady E. Wedel – the chocolate café – is located at 0 level, next to the exit to the coach station.
