On Thursday, June 11 at 4 pm in a pop-up store on level +2, everyone is cordially invited to a street theatre play “Peregrinus” performed by KTO Theatre from Kraków as part of the 21th International “A Part” Performing Arts Festival.
“Peregrinus” is a vagabond play, inspired by T.S. Eliot’s poetry and Krzysztof Wodiczko’s art. The theme of the spectacle is one day from a life of a 21st century man. A modern Everyman, whose life is suspended between his Home and his Work in a corporation, tends to identify his “walk through life” with his “walk to work”. 21st century Peregrinus lives in a shop window. The mobile character of the play showcases the protagonist’s adventures in different contexts of the city space.
Entry to this event at Galeria Katowicka is free. Come and join us!
“A Part” Performing Arts Festival (earlier: “A Part” Theatre Festival) is an international showcase of the most interesting artistic happenings from fields of performing arts with a focus on theatre: authors’, non-verbal, experimental, alternative and innovative.
