The last day on the Summer Chill beach comes with a range of attractions!
On Friday, August 28, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., you can join creative art workshops for kids and their parents alike. The “Miszung” (the term comes from Silesian and refers to a mess or chaos; one that might be creative in nature) project was kicked off to integrate Silesian artists, actors, photographers and culture promoters, as well as to organize unique art and cultural events. During Friday’s workshops, participants will make sea creatures, mermaid’s hair and dream catchers.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., coaches from Bumeikan sports club will hold an open Aikido training session. The classes are intended primarily for children but adults are welcome nonetheless.
At 5:00 p.m. we are starting a party with a DJ recommended by Chili Zet, the project’s partner.
Thank you for loads of great moments on the Summer Chill beach and two unforgettable summer months! In the very city center, at Plac Szewczyka, everyone could walk on sand, relax on deckchairs, play volleyball or take part in an array of sports classes. Kids were having fun on a playground and with inflatables. We also took care of music and served tasty dishes from food trucks. That was a real Summer Chill!
