Another holiday weekend is coming up, bringing a number of attractions related to the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT. What to choose? Our suggestion would be to try absolutely everything!
For Friday, July 24, 5.30 p.m., the University of Development has prepared experiments and shows proving that Chemistry is a little magical and magic is somewhat chemical in nature. Kids will get a chance to make juice and Coke out of water, inflate a balloon without using their mouth, and read invisible letters. Friday will also see another workshop on robots.
On Saturday, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m and Sunday, July 25-26, between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., Renesans Gallery is going to host a new part of its “Family Inspirations” – “Wound-up Mouse,” i.e. fastening, unscrewing and welding (“Bolts and Others – Informalism” cycle).
Trip Theater has arranged interesting workshops for Saturday, July 25 (5.30 p.m. – 7 p.m.) and Sunday, July 26 (10 a.m. – 11.30 a.m.), this time focusing on stage design and costumes, showing how scenographers and costumers work. Participants will come up with their own stage design ideas and create theatrical costumes using professional templates.
All activities within the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT are free-of-charge and held at level “+2” of Galeria Katowicka. Some are offered on the first-come first-served basis. A schedule and further details are available at www.galeriakatowicka.eu/wyzszy-poziom.
