Next Saturday and Sunday (June 27-28) we will be welcoming summer holidays in a very sweet manner.

The fourth installment of Galeria Katowicka Cooking Festival, apart from workshops, quizzes, shows and tastings dedicated to chocolate, ice cream and lollipops, will feature a cooking show by two famous chefs – Kurt Scheller and Sebastian Olma – who will prepare some tasty desserts for us! After the show we are inviting everyone to a fan meeting, during which you’ll get a chance to talk, take photos and receive autographs from our guests.

Kurt Scheller – hailing from Switzerland and having worked at numerous well-known restaurants all over the world – has been living in Poland since 1991. In 2002 he founded his Cooking Academy, which he now calls a unique meeting place for professionals and amateurs alike, where everyone can better their culinary craft.

Sebastian Olma was born in Bielsko-Biała. He is a young chef who, having learned how to cook under Gordon Ramsay’s supervision, won the second edition of Polish Top Chef.

All events of Galeria Katowicka Cooking Festival will be taking place on the ground level of the Mall (between Peek&Cloppenburg and RTV Euro AGD stores).

9:30-10:30: Chocolate workshops for children – Torcik Wedlowski decorating. Each child will decorate their own Torcik, which they will then take home.

11:00-12:00: Lodomania show: making ice cream and Festa di Melone desserts with melon fruit. Tasting.

12:30-13:30: Quizzes and riddles on chocolate and Wedel – with prizes from Wedel to be won. Chocolate fountain with various  snacks to be dipped in liquid chocolate.

14:00-18:00: Great lollipop-making workshops: find out how lollipops are made and make your own one as well.

11:00-12:00: Lodomania show: making ice cream and Festa di Melone desserts with melon fruit. Tasting.

12:30-13:30: Quizzes and riddles on chocolate and Wedel – with prizes from Wedel to be won.

14:00-16:00: Kurt Scheller’s and Sebastian Olma’s cooking show – desserts by some of the best chefs in Poland (pears in red wine served on mascarpone cheese, Catalan Cream with raisins and nuts). Tasting.

16:00-16:15: Break.

16:15-17:00: Fan meeting with Kurt Scheller and Sebastian Olma, part I: photos and autographs.

17:00-18:00: Fan meeting with Kurt Scheller and Sebastian Olma, part II: Q&A.

18:30-20:00: Tchibo showcase: the best baristas making the best coffee. Tasting.
