It is said that blood is the most powerful medicine that modern medicine has. Every day, the Regional Center for Blood Donation and Blood Treatment in Katowice provides hospitals and clinics from the Silesian region with 200 to 250 liters of blood. The needs are therefore huge! Each of you, who wants to help and give the needy a chance to survive, will be able to do on the square next to our Gallery. From 15 July, there will be an RCKiK ambulance here.

The mobile collection point in front of Galeria Katowicka will appear in sequence: 15-17, 22 – 24, 29 – 31 July. On Mondays and Wednesdays, the RCKiK crew will work from 10: 00-17: 00, and on Tuesdays from 8:00 to 15:00. Blood collection usually takes a maximum of 10 minutes. It is worth remembering that if you devote only a fraction of your free time, you can save someone else’s life!

Blood can be donated by any adult and healthy person weighing more than 50 kg. Before donating, the donor should eat a light meal. The place should be reported with an identity card.
