On Saturday, August 15, we’re all going to have some rest. Galeria Katowicka is closed then, which means that no weekly workshops will be held. However, we invite you to take part in the UPPER LEVEL PROJECT on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
On Wednesday, August 12 (4 p.m. – 7 p.m.), Renesans Gallery is going to offer another session as part of Galeria Katowicka’s Small ACADEMY of Fine Arts. This time we are going to build a giant structure made of our bodies.
Thursday, August 13 (5 p.m.) will see a weekly 45-minute personal development class taught by Bogdan Maciejak, a coach and motivational speaker boasting over 20 years of experience. This week’s workshops are entitled “How to take proper care of oneself” and aimed specifically at women. After the meeting participants can join 15-minute relaxation sessions accompanied by peaceful music; they start every half an hour.
For Friday, August 14 (5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.), the University of Development has prepared “Egg Experiments.” We’ll see if it’s possible to use eggs like natural rubber balls or to boil them without any heat. There’ll be plenty of games and contests to choose from. The agenda also includes another workshop on robots.
On Sunday, August 16 (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.), Trip Theater will finish its series of workshops with “Improvisation.” But that’s far from all – the upcoming weeks will see rehearsals before the final show scheduled for the last Sunday of August.
On Sunday customers can also take part in Renesans Gallery’s “Family Inspirations.” The next session is called “DREAMING OF FLYING.” It will focus on design and architecture in the eyes of children. We’ll also have a chance to learn what “urban knitting” is all about.
All activities within the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT are free-of-charge and held at level “+2” of Galeria Katowicka. Some are offered on the first-come first-served basis. For more information on the project and the schedule, click here.
