Here’s the weekend schedule for the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT:
– On Friday (July 17), between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., the University of Development will take us to the mysterious land of senses. During the “Biolab” session children will learn why humans need two eyes, how our sight might deceive us, where the nose can take us and how to locate the source of sounds through “rabbit ears.” One of the highlights is going to be a puzzling sound that adults can’t hear! On Friday we’ll also hold another workshop on robots.
– Saturday (July 18), 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., and Sunday (July 19), 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.: “Where the Wind Blows from” – a series of graphic workshops arranged by the “RENESANS” Gallery and targeted at both kids and adults. The key objective is to inspire families to spend their free time together and in a creative way, later enjoying the result of their efforts at home.
– Trip Theater has also prepared another workshop, this time focusing primarily on imagination. On Saturday, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10:00 – 12:00 a.m., participants will learn the art of abstract thinking, which benefits both the mind and body. The agenda includes a walk through imagination, transformation into a piece of paper, construction of a museum and the Academy of Funny Steps.
All activities within the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT are free-of-charge and held at level “+2” of Galeria Katowicka. They are offered on the first-come first-served basis.
