Yesterday Galeria Katowicka won Prime Property Prize 2013 for the Investment of the Year on the Retail Space Market.
Prime Property Prize 2013 aimed at picking companies and projects which had the greatest impact upon the commercial property market over the past year, as well as people whose actions contributed to the development of the whole sector.
Experts granted an award to Galeria Katowicka for creating a completely new-quality area in downtown Katowice and attracting brands which had been absent from the region or even the country. Thanks to the investment, the city got 200,000 sqm of modern usable area.
“This is a special honor for me,” said Agata Brzezińska, Country Manager at NEINVER Poland. “Since the opening, each day has been providing us with evidence that Galeria Katowicka is a great success. This is more than just a shopping mall; the complex comprises a railway station and an underground bus terminal, forming a new center of Katowice. We are glad that the city was distinguished for the second time. I would like to thank local authorities for their cooperation,” she added.
Other shortlisted projects in the Retail Space Market category were Europa Centralna Gliwice, Outlet Park Szczecin, Marcredo Center Ciechanów and Galeria Solna Inowrocław.
