We recommend new weekend activities offered as part of the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT!
The University of Development invites all kids to join its Detective Academy on Friday (July 31), between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Do you want to know how evidence is destroyed, how real blood differs from artificial one or what pickpockets do to distract their victims’ attention? This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to take a journey into the world of riddles, brain teasers and exciting fun. The agenda includes learning detective tricks, breaking codes and ciphers, collecting fingerprints and detecting poisonous substances. The meeting is going to finish with a Secret Exam. As every Friday, the University of Development will also offer a new workshop on robots.
We encourage everyone to spend Saturday (August 1), between 1 and 5 p.m., and on Sunday (August 2), from 12 to 4 p.m. CREATIVELY FOR NON-ADULTS WITH ADULTS – that’s the name of weekend sessions prepared by Renesans Gallery. During these family-oriented workshops we’ll make amazing illustrations, installations and spatial forms inspired by the works of renowned artists.
Saturday (August 1), 5:30 – 7 p.m., and Sunday (August 2), 10 – 11:30 a.m., will also feature meetings arranged by Trip Theater. This time the workshops for children and teenagers are going to focus on the issue of our memory. We’ll discover various memorization techniques, find out how memory works and learn how to boost it.
Adults wishing to make international music hits will definitely like Silesia’s only sound recording and music production workshops prepared by SEKWENCJA Music Production School and scheduled for Sunday afternoon (July 2, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.). Do you want to learn how to work with sounds or what sound design, sequencer and mixer are? The class will be taught by SEKWENCJA’s founder, Bartosz Marek Sztandar, one of just three certified Abelton Live trainers in Poland.
All activities within the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT are free-of-charge and held at level “+2” of Galeria Katowicka. Some are offered on the first-come first-served basis.
