Would you like to spend November’s last Saturday in a creative atmosphere and having a good time? Take part in our unique “engrossed art picnic.”

On November 28, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Galeria Katowicka’s level +2 will host a wide range of attractions prepared specifically for kids and families:

– reading together and working on a short play and comic books with imaginary characters and interesting storylines

– developing large-format book illustrations based on the picture books theory which assumes that illustrations and texts are equally important and inherently connected. The workshops will result in the production of large-format books illustrated by young readers

– making felt toys

– making bookmarks and decorative elements for bookcases

– family integration games

– latest board games

– design workshops offering customers a chance to produce T-shirts with their names, using special paints and templates

The “Engrossed in Kato” event is organized by wczytani.com neighborhood group, Hu-Ta Foundation and Katowice City Hall. Its partners are Civitas Association and Galeria Katowicka.
