Did you know that this coming Saturday (June 13) is the day of “World Blood Drive” – World Blood Donation Day for the fans of STAR WARS?

Galeria Katowicka supports this event organized by the fans of George Lucas’s saga.

From 11 am till 3 pm in Plac Szewczyka in front of Galeria Katowicka, characters from Star Wars films will encourage everyone to donate blood in a dedicated bus of the Regional Center for Blood Donation and Haemotherapy.

All Blood Donors who decide to share their most precious gift will get to experience many fun activities, such as a chance to get their photo taken with characters from Star Wars.

Remember – to donate blood you need to:

– be in good health

– weigh no less than 50 kg

– be between 18 and 65 years of age

– arrive at the bus having consumed a light meal

– possess an ID
