Two summer months, 25 meetings, nearly 90 hours spent walking along the road towards understanding and discovery, which entailed watching, listening, discussing, reaching the heights of one’s capabilities, as well as expanding the knowledge of art, the media, literature and the world in general.
What is the result of all of that? Now you have a unique opportunity to find out.
We would like to invite you to an exhibition of Galeria Katowicka’s Small Academy of Fine Arts. All guests entering the exhibition zone at level “+2” will get a sweet surprise from Pijalnia Czekolady E. Wedel on Saturday, August 29, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., and on Sunday, August 30, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Representatives of Renesans Gallery and kids will walk visitors around, talking about the classes they have attended.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a slide presentation recapping our summer activities. Our young participants can tap into their creative potential to prepare unique invitations to the exhibition for their families and friends.
As part of the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT, Galeria Renesans conducted workshops for kids, introducing them to the world of art and culture each Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday during the holiday season.
The basic goal was to let participants find out more about the new media, art currents and techniques while learning through play. Children were carrying out numerous experiments and making significant discoveries. Instructors used various forms of expression, including Art Informel, emballage, happening, environmental art, Tachisme, op-art and performance.
The objective of family-oriented events held at weekends was to inspire children, their parents and grandparents to spend time together in a creative way. Sculpting, painting, drawing, making everyday art objects, jewelry and toys allowed everyone to have a great time and come back home with a new work of art.
