We’d like to recommend another event of the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT – the second edition of the “Career Fitting Room” co-organized by the Silesian University Career Office.
If you want to have your application documents revised, browse through job ads, ask Labor Law questions or meet the region’s biggest employers, come to level +2 of Galeria Katowicka on August 18, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Schedule:
– 10.30 – “Corporate Savoir-Vivre” workshops – Capgemini Poland
– 12.30 – “Why are we cool?” meeting – IBM
– 14.00 – “CV” contest – Silesian University Career Office
Throughout the event you can discuss any Labor Law issues with a representative of the Regional Labor Inspectorate in Katowice. It is also possible to have your resume and cover letter checked, get a CV picture taken, talk to Capgemini Poland’s employees about recruitment methods, find a lot of job adverts, meet IBM’s workers and learn about the company’s current vacancies, find out more about interview dress rules from BYTOM’s representatives, as well as talk to Sephora’s workers about business makeup.
The Silesian University Career Office has come up with a contest. The task is as follows: “Get a look at your CV, the one you usually send out to prospective employers. Imagine that you’re the boss and have just received this CV. Describe your reaction. Submit your response and a resume between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The winner will get a professional CV along with a batch of tailor-made job offers.
