FROM GALERIA KATOWICKA TO INTERNATIONAL CATWALKS

Julia Gryc from Bytom, 14-year-old winner of the auditions organized during Galeria Katowicka’s Katowice Fashion Week, the largest fashion event in Silesia, has embarked on her international career. She is coached by modelling experts, had a photoshoot for Glamour magazine and fulfilled her dream of travelling to the United States. Within less than three months of first appearing on Galeria Katowicka’s catwalk, Julia is flying out to meet Hollywood-based agents. She will also go to Miami for her first international advertising contract, assisting a popular supermodel.

GALERIA KATOWICKA’S LOYALTY PROGRAM NOMINATED FOR LOYALTY AWARDS 2015

Customer relationship management experts have nominated Galeria Katowicka’s loyalty scheme integrated with a mobile application for Loyalty Awards 2015 in the best new loyalty program category. Awards will be presented at the seventh annual Poland & CEE Customer Loyalty Summit 2016, the largest event in the loyalty industry. Galeria Katowicka’s representatives are going to discuss their project at a meeting focusing on best practices in retail and retail marketing.

LEARNING THROUGH PLAY AT GALERIA KATOWICKA’S INTERACTIVE EXHIBITION

Newton’s cradle, the Sun, planets, structures with voices from the Universe, X-ray jigsaw puzzles with a human skeleton, experiments that make all hair stand, and house mock-ups with movable elements showing energy-saving methods – over 50 interactive exhibits in a single location in the Upper-Silesian capital. Galeria Katowicka invites everyone to see an exhibition of EUGENIUSZ Science and Fun Center, which perfectly combines education and entertainment. The exhibition is open from March 7 until the end of April.

“JAZZ ZONE” IN GALERIA KATOWICKA’S HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT

Jazz posters from Argentina, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, Greece, Iran, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Italy and Poland – an exhibition created as a result of cooperation between Negatyw Gallery and the Department of Graphic Design at the Institute of Art at the Art Faculty of the University of Silesia is coming to the HIGHER LEVEL PROJECT Zone in Galeria Katowicka for at least a month and a half. Its premiere will be held on February 26, 2016 at 7pm.

GALERIA KATOWICKA’S SHOPPING APP WINS CUSTOMERS’ HEARTS

Galeria Katowicka’s innovative shopping application has been highly popular since its launch date. Within just three weeks it has been downloaded 7,500 times. Customers use discount coupons, register receipts and redeem them for prizes. The best ones can also win gift cards. In addition, shopping at Galeria Katowicka has been made easier through a personal navigation feature that relies on beacons.

MORE BARGAINS WITH GALERIA KATOWICKA’S SHOPPING APP

Until the end of February, Galeria Katowicka is going to distribute prizes worth over PLN 100k among shoppers using its new mobile application. Additional benefits during the hot sales season include discount coupons to be redeemed at stores and restaurants in the mall, as well as a personal shopping navigation feature. Within just three weeks in December, the app was downloaded by 7,500 customers.

THREE FUNCTIONS IN A SINGLE MOBILE APP – GALERIA KATOWICKA WITH YET ANOTHER INNOVATION

Galeria Katowicka becomes Europe’s first shopping center to introduce a multifunctional mobile app which combines a loyalty program, digital coupons to use at stores and restaurants, as well as a personal navigation feature that works with beacons. Navishopper guides Galeria Katowicka’s customers to selected stores, vouchers and rewards they can collect in exchange for points earned while shopping.
